Rod ends with studs and spherical bushings are used for linkage applications in which the bearing must accommodate severe misalignment. The rod end body is constructed with zinc-plated low-carbon steel that has been chromate treated to reduce corrosion, and the balls are constructed of hard-chrome-plated 52100 steel for greater durability.
Self-lubricating or metal-to-metal inserts are available for increased wear resistance. Grease fittings are also available, which can be ordered in imperial or metric dimensions.
Please note that all load ratings are based on non-lubricating fitting. For load rating with lubricator, contact Emerson Bearing.
