Rod ends are spherical plain bearings installed into male or female rod connectors. Originally developed as a compact and economical alternative to traditional housing installations, rod ends provide easy mounting and position adjustment for industries ranging from material handling and automotive to aerospace and beyond.

At Emerson Bearing, we offer rod ends that lead the industry in quality and durability, including our BEF Heavy Duty Metric Rod Ends. The BEF series are female thread rod ends that feature integral spherical plain bearings.

Designed with optional rolling elements, these rod ends can accommodate medium to heavy loads at medium to high speeds and work well with shock loads.

The models are available in multiple configurations; BEF right hand thread rod ends range from 5 mm by 27 mm to 30 mm by 110 mm. Left hand thread models are available in dimensions from 5 mm by 27 mm to 17.5 mm by 50 mm.
