Take up units are bearings specially designed for mounting on frames. This housing configuration lets technicians adjust and maintain conveyor belt tension for maximum operational efficiency. After mounting, take up units are easily movable along the frame, allowing for belts to be replaced, tightened, or otherwise adjusted as necessary — compensating  for shrinkage, stretch, and wear that inevitably builds over time.

Emerson MST/UCTX wide slot, medium-duty take up units offer versatility and uncompromising strength. They are available in corrosion resistant materials that include stainless steel, cast iron, nickel plating, and thermoplastic. We offer set screw and eccentric locking collar designs, with L3 triple lip and B-type seals available for added sealing protection. Wide inner race units are also available for added carrying capacity.

The MST/UCTX line ranges in size from 4-1/32” by 4-7/16” to 10-1/4” by 2/18”.
