Item # 40301, Solution 30 Pipe Sealant with Teflon®

PTFE (commonly known as Teflon) enhances sealant effectiveness and flexibility. Emerson’s Solution 30 seals instantly but cures slowly, allowing pipe fitters to make any necessary adjustments to the system while keeping the seal intact. After full curing, PTFE seals offer excellent resistance to temperatures, vibration, and pressure.

Solution 30 Pipe Sealant is a non-migrating, low-strength paste designed for tapered threads, filling gaps up to 0.015” and featuring a viscosity of 350,000 cP. It provides exceptional sealing in gas and fluid pressurized pipe settings, with a fixture time of 20 to 30 minutes and maximum strength after 24 hours. Fully cured Teflon seals can withstand temperatures up to 400°F and pressures up to 10,000 psi. Soluble in Acetone and MEK, this sealant allows disassembly with hand tools when necessary.
